1) Medicine Ramen: Eat your Ramen while treating your cold! Different medicines would be available, such as Tylenol, NyQuil, Caffeine... and they would be liquefied and mixed into the noodles. The ramen would continue to taste the same as normal, so you wouldn't know you were eating your medicine! 2) Jenga Ramen: A fun game for family, friends, and anyone who just loves a good challenge. Raw Ramen would be cut into rectangles and given different colors. The rectangles of noodles would then be stacked and fitted like the game of Jenga. The only catch with this version of the game is, if you make the tower fall- you have to eat all the Ramen!

3) Ramen Sculptures: The titles says it all: sculptures made of Ramen noodles. There could be contests, like ice sculpture contests, but with Ramen noodles. Restaurants could serve Ramen with Ramen in a sculpture form. The consumers would then have to chip away at the sculpture using heated knives and forks and hot water.

There is actually an artist I discovered, who has made actual Ramen Sculptures (as shown in the picture above). His name is Sang-Wook Lee and in this interview, he describes his process and inspiration for creating Ramen sculptures! Click Here to watch the CNN interview!
Hi Kat! Two things: first, it's really cool how different your three ramen ideas are and how you manage to incorporate EATING the Ramen into all three of them, even the ones that are "repurposing" Ramen. Is there a way of making the "repurposed" ramen activities "reusable," or are they just one-time activities? (and would we want to eat the ramen after too many uses ...?)
ReplyDeleteSecond, the CNN video on Sang-Wook Lee is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
